$1,000, $2,000 and $3,000 scholarships to senior high school students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, from public, private and parochial schools who have advanced the civil rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) population. Graduating students must be going onto higher education.

Every year, LifeWorks partners with Southern California Edison, Comcast NBCUniversal and the Felice Samuel Greene fund to award more than $35,000 in scholarship funds to LGBTQ and ally high school seniors as well as college undergrads to assist in fulfilling their college dreams. Two $2500 scholarships are available through a generous gift of the Papel Family Trust. These scholarships may be applied for through a special application process by an LGBTQ college/graduate student or child of LGBTQ parents for college. High School seniors encouraged to apply!
These 2 grants are specifically designated to support college/grad students who identify as LGBTQ, or whose parent(s) identify as LGBTQ, who are committed to social justice and making strides in creating a more fair and just world.
